Yesterday was a big day for black entertainment. The BET awards aired hosted by Samuel L. Jackson. There were big performances from Kanye West and GOOD Music, to Rick Ross, Melanie Fiona and Brandy just to name a few. Almost everyone dressed to impress, however some attempts to look fashionable were a fail. Here are some of the best and worst looks from the show.
Beyonce looked flawless in her canary yellow gown and gave a lot of leg showing that a post-baby body does not exist in her world. The color, the belt, everything about this dress worked for her.
Lola Monroe looked stunning in her peach one sleeved gown. It accentuated her curves perfectly and she looked sexy yet classic. The tail gave her an old Hollywood style look and the head piece gave it an exotic twist.
Kim Kardashian showed up and showed out in her backless, chunky zipper detailed, long sleeved dress. Her dress showed off her famous curves in a classic tasteful way.
Laurieann Gibson wore MCM head to toe. Although MCM makes awesome backpacks and handbags the outfit is a little much. The pants may have been okay alone, maybe even the shirt, but wearing them together was a fail.
I don't even know where to start on Porscha Colean's outfit. It looks terrible from head to toe. It's like she purposely wore the worst outfit she could find. The ballerina tutu skirt, puffy sleeves, and bedazzled hat all together are just an epic fail.
Regina King wore a hideous pair of pants? I really don't know what these are or where they sell these, however if I find out I won't let you know. If she has a stylist they should be fired immediately.
